hey, I’m Liz, and I love food

I’m a full-time dentist in Toronto, but when the scrubs come off, I’m almost certainly unwinding in my kitchen. I love writing recipes, but the real joy is sharing what I make with the people I love. That’s what Plated by Liz is all about.

Full disclosure: I’m not a professional chef. These recipes aren’t rigid formulas — they’re my creative escape. Taste as you go, season boldly, and pair it with a glass of red wine. Trust me, everything tastes better that way.

This isn’t a solo project. My husband Rob is not only the best human I know, but also my photographer, director, and creative partner. Plated by Liz wouldn’t exist without him — it’s just as much his as it is mine.
